The short version

Some outbound links to booksellers are affiliate links. If you buy a book after clicking one, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra. The price is the same as if you had gone to the seller directly.

Which links

On each book page, the "read or borrow" row may include links to Amazon, Bookshop.org, and Audible. These are the affiliate links. The library link, which points to WorldCat so you can find the book in a library near you, is not monetized. We include it because borrowing is a real option and we think you should see it next to the buying options.

What we do not do

We do not accept payment to include a book, to rank it higher, or to describe it a certain way. Our subgenre and theme labels are editorial and are applied the same way whether or not a book has a buy link. We do not run third-party ad scripts. We do not sell your data.

Honesty about commissions

We do not state specific commission rates, because affiliate terms change and we will not quote a number we have not confirmed. If a program's terms change what we can say, we will update this page.
